In honor of all who serve, my most heartfelt thanks!
Apparently this is a day for my husband and for me! He adores sandwiches, and I am a housewife. Score for both of us then, lol.
I think my favorite must be grilled ham and Swiss … or roast beef … or liverwurst with lots of lettuce and mayo. What’s your favorite sandwich? Will you make one to “celebrate the day”?

Each year on May 26, people across the United States, celebrate and enjoy National Blueberry Cheesecake Day.
Oh my goodness, did you know it’s National Blueberry Cheesecake Day? I had no idea! I love cheesecake, it was always one of my favorite desserts. But I think blueberry must be my absolute favorite version. More than cherry or strawberry, for sure.

January 27 is National Chocolate Cake Day. Although it is an unofficially recognized holiday, it is celebrated by chocolate lovers everywhere. If you are a chocolate lover then this is the day for you! You can bake a chocolate cake, buy one, eat it all yourself or share it with family and friends.
Look! It’s National Author’s Day! What a great way to kick off NaNoWriMo! Show the writer in your life some love. And coffee! Writer’s seem to really love coffee.
