September 19-Somethin’ Challenge | McClendon VillaThis challenge is prompted by the song 19-Somethin’ by Mark Wills. You can hear the song here: https://youtu.be/UhSCeItgUEc |
8. What celebrity death upset you the most when you were young?
Ruffian. If you could count a horse as a celebrity. I wept for days. She would not. stop. running. I still fall apart even today just thinking about it. Ruffian (horse) – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
And if Thoroughbred racehorses don’t count, then I’ll have to go with Elvis.
Yes, Ruffian most definitely counts. Any celebrity, 2 or 4-legged, or even 8-legged for that matter, counts. I’m sorry about Ruffian.
Thanks for participating in the 19-Somethin’ challenge. Have a blessed day.

A Louis L’Amour fan as a kid, and then a John Ford fan, I still miss Marion Mitchell Morrison (John Wayne).

Yes, John Wayne is still missed. One of the bloggers I follow mentions him rather often. 🙂

John Wayne was one cool dude! I had a poster of him, too, but I didn’t kiss the lips off of it like I did my Elvis poster. haha

It’s Elvis. Nuff said. Young John Wayne was totally hot though.

I agree about Elvis. haha
I also agree that John Wayne was nice, too. He had a really funny side to him, too. Have you seen him in I Love Lucy?
Have a blessed day!

My were my favorite Lucy episodes were the ones with John Wayne, crushing grapes at the vineyard and the candy assembly line – Bwahahahaha!

Oh I loved the candy one! Laverne and Shirley also did a version of that. Hilarious!
Also, I really enjoyed the Vita-Mita-Vegamin I Love Lucy episode. I know I butchered the spelling probably, but maybe you know which one I mean. I enjoyed the birthday one, too, where all of the little kids were claiming it to be their birthdays and the one little boy, it really was his birthday. Pretty much every episode of I Love Lucy is great. Have you seen her movie (also with Desi) called The Long, Long Trailer?
Have a great day!

Is that the one where they were pulling that trailer behind them and all the stuff was flying around inside the trailer while Lucy was in there?

Yep, that would be the one. 🙂

hahaha David’s sister was really into Donnie Osmond, too. 🙂 I thought he was cute, but Elvis got the lip action. haha

Donny was so boyish – still is! haha
Elvis was definitely more manly by comparison. 🙂
