September 19-Somethin’ Challenge Day 2

September 19-Somethin’ Challenge | McClendon Villa19-Somethin_Sidebar_Button

This challenge is prompted by the song 19-Somethin’ by Mark Wills. You can hear the song here: https://youtu.be/UhSCeItgUEc
The following questions are taken from the various lines in the song.  There are also a few random questions thrown into the mix to make it a post a day for the month – 30 posts.

2. What is the first video game that you remember playing? Were you good at it? What game system did you play it on or was it in an arcade?

That would have to be Pong, of course!  I told you I’ve been 34 for a long time, lol.

  1. haha That is funny! I wish that I could go back to 34. It is hard to believe that I am 51 now. OY!
David played Pong a lot at his dad’s store, to show the customers how to play it and how the game system worked. I think that I played it a few times, too, but Missile Command was the one that I played the most. 🙂
    Have a blessed week!

    1. Pong was full of wow back then! The notion that we could control the little blip thing, that was just amazing! Of course the colors … . But still, we could make something move on our TVs, and how awesome was that?! 🙂

                    1. LOL Oh yes, soapy dreams are much better! 😀

I was always fascinated with genealogy, but it was something I never managed to get into. Back in the dim and distant eons of pre-Internet times, ha!, trying to find information was much more difficult and expensive! I so admire you for sticking with it!

                    2. It was a big adventure that I loved doing back in the pre-Internet days. It meant lots of trips to cemeteries and libraries, hours and hours in libraries with the little ones. They grew up in libraries and cemeteries and seemed to enjoy it, for the most part. 🙂 Thank you!

        1. It is fun! It’s part of our collective history! It’s so awesome when you find others who have similar memories of things and events – it’s almost like being there together in the way back when. 🙂
